Griffith Observatory

Rob and I had a great time visiting the Griffith Observatory on Sunday night. After 4 long years of renovations, it finally reopend to the public on Friday the 5th. We rushed to make our reservations to visit on a beautiful Sunday evening with perfect weather and clear skies. Our drive there was right after sunset so the sky played a beautiful color light show of all colors that made for a pleasant drive up to L.A.–I would have to say my best sunset drive ever. At the observatory, we ended up enjoying more city lights than stars–it was lots of fun and a visit back soon with friends and family is a must, especially a view of sunset from the top!
