Rob and I along with Anh and John made a trip out to Sonora to visit Mary & Darren. On our first day we visited Pinecrest Lake which was almost completely iced over and covered with snow. Drastic change since we were just there in August fishing and swimming in the cold water. Our 2nd day was spent at Yosemite National Park which was a 2 hour drive from the house. It’s my first time there for the winter and it is completely gorgeous! Wish I could have spent a few days there, but there’s always many winters to come for another visit.

I love this shot. I’m laying in the snow looking up at the towering granite rocks and green/brown trees backdropped against the beautiful blue sky with Rob right smack in the middle. Couldn’t get any better.
