My fellow Twihard fans and I went a little nuts this week with a few events. The first was on Tuesday evening when we got together at my place to bedazzle/bling out our Twilight t-shirts we purchased from Hot Topic. (Thanks Mike for hooking us up with the discount!) The swarovski crystals made a huge difference with the way our shirts looked–it was very twilight-y twinkly. The next event was the midnight showing on premiere night. A few of us arrived 3 hours early to get in line hoping to score some decent seats. We came up really well for our party of 12 gals + 1 guy. I was also lucky to get some free Twilight memorabilia from the theatre (trading cards, bookmark, and sticker).
Onto the movie itself: as expected, they had to cut and change some of the plot; the depth and detail of their blossoming romance didnt get to develop much on screen; Bella had quite a few awkward lines (maybe she’s trying to act ‘dazzled’); but if you’re a Twihard, you will overall enjoy the movie, probably even like it (and giggle about it some afterwards).
