This was our first time covering a Chinese wedding. It’s very similar to the Vietnamese ones we usually cover in that there’s tea, gifts, and family involved. Main differences is that this wedding involved lots of gold given as gifts and many fun games for the groom. We went picture happy taking photos of all the gold gifts they received; especially the jewelry kind.
Nancy and Jack have got to be the calmest and kindest couple we’ve ever worked with. Soft spoken and ever so kind Nancy; Jack a licensed pilot with a good natured sense of humor make for a fab couple. If ever aboard a plane in an emergency, I’d very much like to have Jack in the cockpit handling things and Nancy present just to calm fears. He can weather thru pretty much anything with that kind of personality and attitude. With this couple, their marriage will survive thru any kind of trouble that may come their way. They have the best foundation and ingredients for a long lasting happy marriage.
