My sister is expecting her 3rd child any day now. It will be her only boy and last child she plans on having. Our family is super excited to welcome baby Benjamin into our female infested lives because he will be the only nephew amongst too many nieces and too many aunts (between Rob and I we have 9 nieces). Not that we don’t love all our nieces, but we finally get to shop for boys clothes and toys which switches things up and makes shopping during Christmas a little more interesting.
KimChi and Elvis never fail to throw an awesome party no matter the occasion and with Benjamin being so special to us all they pulled out all the stops for their little man. You must see it to believe it.
This is such a fabulously detailed, intricate Noah’s Ark cake done by Intricakes.
You can see that the ark/boat itself was done with such care. Each animal is also so detailed.
My favorite is between the pig and the sheep…and probably the giraffe, lion, panda and monkey too!
Goody bags and custom wrapped chocolate bars.
“B” stands for Benjamin and boy. =)
Intricakes also made these cake lollipops.
Pretzel sticks and oreo dipped treats by Intricakes.
Custom water bottle labels made with 50% love and cuteness, 50% giggles and smiles.
The yummy dessert station. Can anyone resist staying away from this table?!?
Shots of food makes me really hungry!
Benjamin’s beautiful oldest sister: Elise.
Benjamin’s other sister and future runway model: Chloe!
Some of the fun filled activities included face painting, crafty frame making, baby bingo and guess Benji’s birthdate.
All of this incredible face art is by Charlene Ngo. Book her for your private event!
Craft supplies for decorating your matted frame.
Baby bottle sucking game–adults ONLY!
Here’s most everyone that made it to the party. Even I made it in the shot!
Last but not least, of course there was a photobooth provided by yours truly, TVP!
Baby shower coordinated by Kelly Duprat (who’s mainly a wedding coordinator, but hey–if you can handle weddings, you can definitely handle a baby shower!). She did a great job helping out my waddling whale of a sister (I say that only with LOVE) plan and run errands for the baby shower.
Side note: We rarely ever blog about anything else but weddings and engagement shoots, but this personal event was an exception. My sister and her awesome party throwing skills and attention to detail goes as deep as how weddings are planned. And naturally our couples will go down the route of having babies after marriage so we thought this would help them along in planning their future baby shower.
