Rustic Winter Brides

Meet the Brides
Married in September 2005, Mai is wearing “Chantilly” by Maggie Sottero.
Anne’s custom made gown is by L Mode Bridal. She was married in October 2006.
Stephanie, married in September 2007, is wearing a gown by Sottero & Midgley, style SSM5078.
Thao, married in July 2010, is wearing “Veronica” by Ines di Santo.
Cindy is wearing “Dalton” by ENZOANI. She was married in January 2011.
Nga, married in June 2011, is wearing “Farlow” by ENZOANI.
Our lovely, rustic brides put on their finishing touches in the woods!! 😉

Your eyes are not deceiving you, Nga truly is wearing the Christian Louboutin Swarovski crystal
encrusted heels that she donned on her wedding day; a gift from her husband. SWOON!!

The girls got to reminisce their wedding day not just with gowns and invitations but also with a framed photo.
Frames were all handcrafted by Stephanie.

To top off this blog, I present you the jumping bride: Anne.
If you know Anne, you know she loves to jump.

An idea was born in the summer of 2011 when two girlfriends sat down to chit chat about the most random things. It lead to the question, “what would make a fun and spectacular photoshoot?” A few months later the ball was put into motion and the ideas could not stop flowing. Brides in the snow, married girlfriends to invite in on the fun, finding collaborators, what winter accessories, personalized hangers, specific location, find your invitations, need a table scape, find a favorite wedding day photo, props, etc, etc, etc. Less than 5 months later the idea was put to life. It was so much fun that I now must ask: “should TVP hold an annual contest to award a group of girlfriends a trash the dress session?” Let us know in the comments section below!

Special thanks to Helen “Britney” Dang and all the husbands who contributed their time and energy to the shoot and of course my girlfriends for being such great models. It would not have been possible without all your love and support!!

Well golly gee, what a loaded photo shoot. The pictures came out awesome, Duy rocked the camera like he normally does. I had a blast helping out with this one. Looking forward to a possible shoot next year. How about an all grooms trash-the-tux session? What’s more manly than that?
